The Prince received Barry and Felton and said he regretted his inability to witness the race. The Prince greatly appreciated the school children’s display at which one hundred thousand were present. He desired his thanks be conveyed to the teachers and children, He leaves Sydney quietly on Friday night for Albany and thence goes to Adelaide and Hobart, returning to Sydney en route to Brisbane, on 24th. July.
