'By Electric Telegraph—Cop., ight.r • GERMAN POLITICAL HITCH. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) BERLIN, June 23. A hitch has arisen regarding the formation of a Cabinet. The- Plural Socialists refuse to support the Government, therefore it is doubtful whether the Democrats can forpi a Ministry. The situation is also’ mqre acute owing to a conflict between the Centre and Peoples’ Party. The latter claim the portfolios of finance, post and telegraphs and food, wlijch the Centre bolds.
COMMUNISTS’ THREATS. (Received this’ day at 9.20 a.ni.) BERLIN, June 23. The Communists held a secret meeting and agreed to a general strike after the Reichstag assembles on Thursday. They also passed a resolution in favour of arming workers. FORCED REDUCED PRICES. (Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) BERLIN, June 23. Serious rioting occurred at Osnabjuek, Krefeld and Frankfort. A mob, incensed owing to the high prices, raided the shops, and seized and sold the .goods. Other trader s hastily reduced their prices.
