AUSTRALIAN <fc / N.Z CABLE ASSOCIATION] SOCCER FOOTBALL TEAM. (SYDNEY, June SI. ( j At a meeting of the Soccer Football J Association, a proposal was considered to bring out an English team next season. A letter was read from the Se>. retary of the New Zealand Association asking for co-operation in securing a team. The estimated post was£4ooo of which New Zealand is prepar- , ed to pay £ISOO, if the team played in the Dominion. Queensland also offered to pay £IOOO. A final decision was deferred for a few weeks, pending a representative of the Asosciation visiting the other States, with the view of securing support.
