Many employers endorse the Chamber of Manufacturers decision to boycott bodies which agreed to the men’s demands. This threatens, to jeopardise an early general settlement. I.WAV. COMMISSION. SYDNEY, June 21. It was to-day that Justice Ewing, as a Royal Commissioner, opened the, ;n----quiry into the circumstances of the imprisonment of twelve I.WAV. members. These men were sentenced to long terms in 1916 on charges of conspiracy in ounection with a series of fires that eurred in the city of Sydney. Much public interest lias been aroused ; and a great crowd assembled -around the court to-day. This is the seco id time the trial has been reopened.
