MEET AT BOULOGNE. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, June 18
The Supreme Council will meet at Boulogne as a preliminary to the dna Conference. Its scope will be wider than Usual as the Italian, Belgian, and Japanese Representatives have been summoned to attend the Council. They will discuts the total repatriation required from Germany, and the manner ii. which it is to he paid, and probably will also discuss Russian trade relations.
WOMEN TO BE ADMITTED. BRUSSELS, June 18. The Chamber decided to admit women as members to the Chamber and Senate. MURDER OF A MISSIONER. (Received this dnv at 9.30 a.m.) PEKIN, June 18. Southern Rebels attacked the American mission at Yochow and murdered the missionary. - APPEALS DISMISSED. WELLINGTON Juno 19. The Ashburton and Greymouth Racing Club appeals for exemption from the Income Tax was heard and Judge Chapman dismissed the appeal saying that counsel had arguel there was implied exemption on account of Racing clubs being subject to so many itiier taxes, but the terms, of the'Act of 1916 were very explicit. It was true it was passqd in war times, but war expenses had not yet ceased. He suggested that Legislative must be appealed to and not the courts.
