F- Johnston (Mr Murdoch) charges arising out of the above case. Adjourned. Police charged a resident With being on licensed premises (Commercial Hotel), after hours. Defendant (Amos Dowel!) claimed that he went to the hotel in answer to. a telephone message to arrange to supply, a car next day. After hearing the evidence of Const. Quinn, Sergt. ° McCarthy and defendant, hi;. Worship stated he would give the defendant the benefit- of a very shadowy doubt arid dismiss the charge. t JUDGMENT 'SUMMONS.

E. Reynolds and Co. (Mr Wells) v. S. Childe (Mr Murdoch) judgment summons. Defendant in his evidence stated that he had been paying £1 per month by ngreettfent with plaintiffs, who bad since started the present proceedings.
