The Cbuneil of the League of Nations * met at St James Palace to consider, in. ter alia the situation created by the Bolshevist invasion of Persia. Sir Eric Drummond, (Secretary General)and Lord Curzon, representng Britain; Det. furjo’u, Frapce; and Pripce Firovz, Persia, 'filere were also prespnt repreof. Spain, Belgium, Japan, Italy and Greece. Doctor who was charged with supervision of repatriation of Allied prisoners ip Siberia wag , prespnt in an advisory capacity. As regards Persia’s appeal it is understood po unanimous decision was arrived at. With a. view of arriving at a perfect concord between Persia representatives • and the rest of members, the Council agreed that a separate meeting he held between Persia and French representatives in the presence of Drummond, with the object of reaching a unanimous decision.
