- I COMING APPOINTMENTS
(Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day
It is understood that' Government will be making a number of new appointments to the Legislative Council, either before the meeting of the House, dr shortly afterwards. The term of two members of the Council, Hons. Hardy and Earnsliaw expires during the present month, and these are practically certain to be reappointed. The report is that there are about half a dozen appointments to be made, and that there are among them some whose appointment to the Council was arranged during the time of the National Government.
These genetlomen have not been reputed supporters of the Massey Government. . i . .
