COMMERCIAL NEWS.
AIUHURA FAT STOCK SALE. Messrs, M. Houston and Co. report as follows:—At the above yards yesterday our yarding comprised 28 head of fat cattle and (18 fat sheep. There was only a moderate attendance of buyers, but competition was good the full yarding being cleared at prices a little higher than those of tli'e previous sale. Fat sheep sold well. AVe sold on account of Messrs Anderson Bros., (18 fat sheep at 355; on account of Mr AVm. Jamieson 2 cows at £9 17s (Id, 2 at £ll 7s fid, 2 at £lO, 3 heifers at £lO 7s fid, 1 cow at £lO 15s, 1 stag at £3, 4 bullocks at, £11; on account of Mr J. Olson, .2 cows at £8 10s, 2 lit £lO os, 2 heifers at £l2, 2 cows at £ll 2s fid, 2 heifers at £lO 12sfid, 3 aged cows with vealers at £6 15s.
