At the District Racing Committee at Greymouth on Friday night, Mr T. 1.. Coales in the chair routine business affecting past racing was dealt witn and reports from thy Knurara and Reef ton Clubs approved. The latt;r Club notified rt did,not propose to contribute towards the salary of the Dis. triet Secretary. The matter was inferred to the Chairman to report, and further notion will be takeii later if necessary. It was resolved to sunport the applications of the Kumara, "Westland and Reefton Clubs for extra days at Faster, if same were available. Remits for the July Racing Conference were discussed and a. course of notion indicated by the West.Const delegate present which was approved.
