BILLIARDS.
At the Federal Billiard rooms last evening Mr Clark McConachy champion billiardist gave another fine exhibition. Continuing his unfinished break of the previous evening of 561,. he ran on to a total of 629, the second largest recorded in the Dominion. In Ins game with Mr W. Bain, the eharapipp ran up breaks of 228, 132, 145 and 103. Mr Bain receiving 650 n the game of 1,000 up, scored 156, bringing his total to 806 when the champion ran out a winner. Ip a game of snooker played afterwards the champion was also successful against Mr Bain. Throughout the evening the play wa s . of a high order. .The champion plnys at Runanga to-night.
