LAST NIGHT’S EXHIBITION, At the Federal Billiard Saloon last evening, the New Zealand billiard champion—Mr Clark McConachy—gave a splendid exhibition in his match against Mr W. Stewart, in which the latter was conceded 650 in 1000 up. Tho champion gave a. splendid exhibition, hud ran out an easy winner with an unfinished break of 501, which included 327 off tho red. His other main breaks wore 150 and 193, Ids average for the game being 46. W. Stewart scored 127, making his total 777. ' , .. M To-night, at the same location, Mi McConachy will complete his unfinished break, commencing at 7.30 p.m. He will then play Mr W. Bain 1000 up, conceding him 650 points. Lovers 0 t good billiards should not nnss this opportunity of seeing the champion handle his cue.
