PUBLIC NOTICE IS GIVTiV that a SUBSEQUENT MEETING / of the Westland County Council will be hold at the Council Chambers, Hokitika at 3 p.m. on 15th DAY of JUNE, 1920, for the purpose , of confirming a resolution passed on the 12th day of May, 1920, at a special meeting for that jjSjur--1 pose, making a special order whereby the special order confirmed on the 11th day of September 1907, fixing the , names and boundaries and representation of the • Hidings of the County i Council of Westland was rescinded, and | that in lieu thereof the number of the Ridings of the County of Westland be reduced to three namely:— The Northern Riding, the Central Riding, and the Southern Riding; that the boundaries and the representation thereof shall be as set out in the proposed special order; that the special order shall come into effect for the purpose of adjusting the representation of the Ridings and the boundaries thereof under Section 25 of the Counties Act, 1908, as from the date of the gazetting of the said Special Order; that for the purpose of the preparation and the adjustment of valuation rolls on Ist day of April 1921; and that for all other purposes shall not come into force and effect until the expiration of the term of office of the present Council.
