A REMARKABLE FLIGHT. LONDON, June 3
Aviation circles are astonished at the Success of Hinckler’s flight to Turin. They regard it as one of the. most remarkable in the history of flying, in view of the size of the aeroplane, which is only equipped with a 35 horsepower engine.
The newspaper “Aeroplane” says Hinckler is a very fine navigator. He invented one of tile cleverest speed and drift indicators yet- produced. He is also an exceptional pilot; full of pluck, determination, and unflagging cheerfulness. He has a fine war record. He
came to England at his own expense, and joined Royal Naval Air Force. His service included anti-Zeppelin work and scouting in French and Italian waters.
