At the Federal billiard saloon last I evening Mr Clark McConaehy, professional champion hilliardist played* a game against AV. Stovay'o conceding 400 in a 750 game. Mr MeConachy’s breaks consisted of 72, 87, 46, 108 off j cert, 30, 24,105, 22, 160—(111 of theseI off the red, winning with an unfinished I break of 11. W. Stewart’s scores consisted of 16, 24, 14, 19, 33, 22. In a game of snooker against Mr J, Bain, McConaehy conceded him 30 I points. Mr Bain being successful, against him, his score being 71 to Mr McConachy’s 57. It is the intention of Mr . 3\|eConachy to play a return game against the local men next Thursday ! and Friday in the Federal billiard • rooms. i
