At the National Sporting Club, in a contest for the featherweight championship of Europe, Wyans, a Belgian, defeated Mike Honeyman in the tenth round. Honeyman had the best of the fight in the early stages ,but a hefty left to the jaw sent him down five times in the tenth, and the referee stopped the fight. In the bantam championship of Europe, Lcdoux knocked out Jim Higgins in the eleventh round. There was considerable in-fighting in the early rounds. Hif'gins was leading on points. Ledoux wa s the aggressor after the eighth round. Hard fighting thence ended in Ledoux winning with a right swing to the point. _______
