Thoughts For The Times
What is Success. “Success” is a word of many interpretations. It is ft relative term—a com parativo term. Men succeed or fail according as they measure up to our ideas of what constitutes success or failure. “In the estimation of my fellow townmen,” writes an opulent American, “I am n success. I have an official position in the leading ' bank of our town. I have a comfortable home. I have no debts. I even drive a car. 1 am a leading citizen! “And yet, in my own judgment, I am a failure.”
