In commemoration of tlio Jutland battle, tlio Prince of Wales to-day review two thousand men of the Renown mid Australian navy, and also received a commission as Honorary Captain ol the latter. In an address to the men, His Highness stressed the value of sea power and said he .had been impressed by what he had seen of the Australian navy. He felt confident they would uphold great traditions of the Royal Navy. At the conclusion the brigade marched in procession through the streets. After lunch the Prince attended iil children’s demonstration fit the cricket ground, where 10,000 child, ren greeted him, THE PRINCE’S TOUR. (Received this .day, at 9-30 a.tn.) MELBOURNE, This Day: The Prince of Wales is staying for two day*. in the country. He spent Sunday with Mr Hughes and enjoyed an exhilarating gallop to Mr Hughes’s mountain home at Sassafras, incidentally halting for a hilly tea. The Prince was delighted with this aspect of Australian bush life.- He visited Caulfieid military hospital on Monday, stopping at each bed and cheering the patients. One soldier asked if the Renown Hand could visit the hospital and the Prince consented. His Highness was welcomed by five thousand soldiers, sailors and, nurses and presented, with a golden soldier’s paper weight on a. silver Australian map. The. Prince condoling with the bereaved expressed genuine delight at renewing acquaintance with innumerable soldiers.
