ARATIURA FAT STOCK SALE. I Messrs At. Houston and Co. report as follows:—We held our usual sale at the above yards yesterday, our yarding com. ' prising 25 head of cattle. The total yarding at the sale exceeded 100 bead, which being more than required, caused a drop in prices on the previous sale, and several lines were passed ip. Prime finished cattle sold well, but indifferentsorts were hard to quit- . We sold on account of Messrs Anderson Bros. 1 cow at £lO 10s, 2 at £9 7s' 6d, 1 heifer at £ll 12s 6d, 2 cows at £lO 10s, 1 sucker at £5 12s 6d, 2 at £3 10s, 3 heifers at £8; 16 head mixed cattle on account of a client were passed ip.
