With reference to a recent English cable alleging that Australian cricket bodies would only consider the claims of men who had fought in the war the Secretary of the Board of Cricket Control denies its truth. Ho declared—‘The war was over and wo want to forget it, ,AVe expect the Marylcbone Cricket Club to send out to Australia the best team available.
