POLLARO-& PiGJ‘URCa MONDAY. A special picture display will be presented by Pollards at the Princess Thea tre on Monday next when Norma Talmadge v. i:i he seen in her greatest success to dujxi. She plays the leading role in “De Luxe Annie,” a story that is vastly different and infinitely superior. An absorbing plot with a deep human interest. The strange events that befell a woman who was more than a goddess—wlro was sweetheart, wife, mother, and by a strange turn of fate became an outcast and a confidence woman, while those who loved her searched for her in vain. Her mind a blank as to the past, she had wandered off into a world of darkness and fog. The play is familiar to New Zealanders from the fact that it toured recently with Miss Emilie Polini as Annie. The Picture supplies all the blanks of the stage production in settings and atmosphere—on the stage there are puppets amid painted scenes—in the picture there are living beings in living scenes. On Monday next, the programme will include the-“ Tour of the Prince of Wales from Picton to the W§Bfc Coast.”
