The Commision set up to inquire into the proposal to form n Borough at Cobdon has now furnished its repoet. The Commission has approved of the area selected by petitioners with the exception of that portion of North Beach extending beyond section 223, Block VI., Cobdon Survey District. Subject to this slight alteration, ibe Commission has advised that the petition he granted, consequently the amendments proposed by the Grey County Council involving the inclusion in the proposed town district of the scenic reserve, Coal Creek and the Harbour Board Reserve have not been conceded

Choppers £6 to £9 Its, light baconers £5 15s to £6 10s, heavy baconers £7 to £7 15s, extra heavy baconers to £8 7s, average price per lli 10s. Light porkers £3 5s to £4, heavy porkers £4 5s to £5, average price per lb lid to llid. There was a small entry of store pigs, and the demand was about on a par with recent sales. Values were:—Large stores£2 17s 6d to £3 10s, small stores £2 to £2 7s 6d, wenners 10s to 21s.
