WEDDING BELLS.
A quiet but pretty wedding was solemnised at St. Mary’s Church this morning by (he Very ltev. Dean Tubman, the contracting parties being Miss Victoria Harris, youngest daughter oi' Mr and Mrs Thos. Harris of Humphreys, and Mr Joseph Hutchison, second son of Mr and Mrs J. D. Hutchison of Kanieri. The bride, who entered the Church on the arm of hei father, wore a pretty costume of white Egyptian siik (the, gift of her brother ltobert) and a pretty hat of pink crepe de chine. The bride was attended by Miss Aileen Hansen of Woodstock as bridesmaid, who wore a pretty dress of biscuit coloured voile with silk stripe, and she also wore a pretty picture hat to match. The bridegroom was attended by his brother Jack, a returned soldier, as best man. The bride’s present to the bridegroom was a tie pin, _ and bridegroom’s present to the bride was a white ivory prayer book, and tlu* bridegroom’s present to bridesmaid was a gold brooch. The young couple went north, where the honeymoon will bo spent, the bride travelling in a smart „rey costume, with hat to match. They carry with them the hearty good wishes of a wide circle of friends for a | happy future. .
