In tiie boxing contest at the Town Hall to-night, Tommy Uren beat Fritz Holland on points. The contest went the full fifteen rounds, after one of the cleverest exhibitions of in-fighting witnessed locally.
CARPENTIER MATCHED. NEW YORK, May 22
The “New York World” states that Carpentier has signed articles for a fight with Battling Levinsky for the light heavy-weight championship of the world on or before July 26th. The men have agreed on a weight of 1751 b. The fight will he one of either 12 or 15 rounds, depending on the State in which the fight takes place.
