RUSSO-POLISH WAR

Lemberg reports state that the Reds captured Kieff yesterday afternoon, after a six hours bombardment. There is heavy fighting in Poland. This threatens to mako war in Czechoslovakia. * r 1 There is a danger that if such a war commences Hungary may intervene, and crush Slovakia, and then establish a common frontier with Poland. Berlin reports that Bolsheviks using shock troops and heavy artillery re-oc-cupied the suburbs of Kieff.
INDIANS AT BAKU . {United Service Telegrams). ' (Received this day at 8 a.m.) LONDON, May 24. The British are landing an Indian army at Batoum for the advance on Baku. A wireless message states a Persian diplomatic mission is going to Moscow.
