The regulation governing the amended scale of allowances' to school committees for incidental expenses is published in last week’s Gazette. Its ope, rates ns from April I, 1920. The now scale includes the following figures: Average Attendance. Amount of Grant I_B 14s. ,pcr mpil. 9—20 £l4 81—120 £45 201—240 £7B 401—440 £127 601—640 £172 801-840 ...T £213 Tlie schedule provides for all the intermediate grades in proportion to tho amounts quoted.
