(Bv Electric Telegraph—Co'jyriglit.i EXPLORINGX ‘ PARTY. NEW YORK, May 12. Doctor Hamilton Rice’s party has returned from the exploration of Para river Orennoeo, and reports a battle with giant cannibals and ferocious savages, almost white in colour. Rice believes it is the first time these cannibals met the whites since 1763 when a Spanish exploring party met them.
- MEXICAN REPORT. (Rcbeived this day at 10.35 a.m.) MEXICO CITY, May 13. I t is reported that the rebels arc surrounding Carranza’s train at Apizaco, 30o' Carranzaists being killed, and Carranza’s life endangered.
