Tlie fund for the AVestland AA r ar Memorial continues to grow' steadily. To-day Mrs Seddon handed to the Mayor £26 Is Od, being the proceeds of a personal collection kindly made by Mrs Seddon hers,elf among a few Attest Coast friends in AVellington district. The Retijmod Soldiers’ Association at Hokitika* ji;(.s voted alsq £5 to the fund. At noon to-day the total sum.ip hand was £919 Is lid. As fully £350 additional are in sight, the fund may be said now to approximate £1,300. As there is so small a margin to reach the sum required, no doubt other donations will be made, or oven supplementary contributions sent in. This may be done at any time by forwarding contributions to Mr A. A. Andrpwes, Hon. Trpas.
