GENERAL CABLES.
AUSTRALIAN N.Z. CABLE ASSOCIATION]
COALITION LIBERALS. LONDON, 'May 11. The Coalition “Liberal” ivliniste*'s addressed a crowded meeting at the Central Hall, Westminster. The Chairman read n letter from Mr Llovd -George, who was absent, asserting the proceedings at the Liberal’s recent Camington meeting thoroughly- exposed the unfitness of the, National Liberal Federation, as q.t present existing, to represent Libytidisiii. He said the Liberal Coalitionists never betrayed Libera] principles. Recent by-elec-tions clearly showed, the longer represented the LiberaJ rank and file. ‘.‘No doubt,” by continued, division in Lih.unilisiu is a serious one, but any premature attempt to force an issue between the two sections will leave the party rent, bleeding-unc] helpless for a generation. Unfortunately bad temper has seized the reins. The present dissension is a source of grief to me. I have done more to avert it than is yet known,” A resolution in favp ir of the Coalition was carried by ned.tlxntion.
