CATTLE DRIVING. LONDON, May 10,

Cattle driving in the West of Ireland is rife. The roads are covered with wandering stock and warning notices are posted deterring the public from assisting farmers to collect their stock. The raids continue hourly, arm. i3’"bands motoring "over the country and compelling farmers to give up their farms or driving off their stock.

DEATH OF SINN FEIN PRISONERLDNfppN, May 9. Thp death is recorded of one of the Sinn Fein prisoners, name 4 Redmpnd. He was one of the men who were recently imprisoned in Dublin in Mount Joy Gaol, and was on hunger strike. Ho was released on April 15th. He died under an operation, the cause of death is stated to be appendicitis. The Sinn Feiners, however, insist that he is a martyr to the Irish cause.
