St Mary’s Club Rooms were packed to the doors at the euchre aucl dauco last evening. The prize for the evening was a complete dinner and was on show during the evening. It consisted of lamb, vegetables of all sorts, puddings, ’desserts and ales. .Over 100 players took part, apd the -lucky one proved to lie Mr AY, Jones, who won every game. Tlie 2nd prize, a. parcel of butter went to Mr AA r . Johnston, and 3rd, (tea) to Mr G. Howe. Air Jones kiiidly handed, liis prize back, and it was disposed of in the room at a handsome sum.
