(Received this dav at 8 a.m.) PARIS, May 6. Although the Government’s announcement that the railway strike is as good ag ended, appears premature, many m.en ar,e returning to work. There have been no extensions of the strike, but more men engaged in other industries have struck, including mpt-al workers amf mpro miners. STRIKE REPORTED CRUSHED ("Received this day at 9.30 a.m.) PARIS, May 6. The French- railway strike has been a failure. The men arc returning to work. Government’s firm attitude has crushed t-lie strikers. -V
