PIECEWORK PROPOSAL. (Received this day, at 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 6. Skilled workers in the engineering, trades rejected piecework by a. 4 to 1 majority. The employers had insisted •!U the adoption of piecework as a condition of their acceptance of a 47 hours’ veck. Unskilled workers have already accepted piecework.
