FOR THE CHILDREN, (To the Editor.) gjr,—The Prince of Wales has ex-, pressed a keen desire to meet the chil(lron of this Dominion, and there is no doubt that in view of the fact that they will one day be his subjects such a desire is the outcome of sound foryfiigf(\, With the view of making, the. PriniOy.’s, visit more memorable fo the kiddies, and in order liv pypvide a mexporial thatwould be, appreciated by the youngsters, I beg to suggest that- some swings, seesawsq and a giant stride be erected in Cass Square for the use of all. These should be named the “Prince’s Swings.” In furtherance of this suggestion, I will gladly subscribe £2O if tho powers that "be will take the matter up. The manner in which the children have gleaned so much pleasure by using an old wheel-barrow plank as a sep-saW on a heap of clay, negr Rie. north gate of the square shows how some good swings, etc., would be appreciated. -1 am, etc., — W.
