POSTAL RESOLUTIONS. ■CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. A meeting of Post and Telegraph olficers Association passed res Motions : Demantling a war bun us promised by Su Joseph Ward and pledging support to the Executive in any action it proposed to take; expressing the opinion that the cost of living bonus granted from January was inadequate and cle, manded that salaries be increased by 62 per cent over the 1914 standard; that the meeting supports the Palmerston North section in its demands for officers in the department who served with the Expeditionary Forces; that the meeting recommends the Post and Telegraph Association to assist, railwayman morally anil financially in tlu*!r present troubles ; that in the event of the Conference on Wednesday between the Prime Minister and Postmaster General and Executive of Association being abortive, the Executive be empowered to organise the Association as a lighting unit on industrial lines.
