The meeting of Premiers revealed the Anglp-ltaljan attitude respecting Ruhr question was practically unchanged, M. Millerand demanded complete solidarity of the Allies regarding the enforcement of the Treaty. . Signor Nitti demanded a revision of the Treaty, in order- to assist in the economic resurrection of Germany.
Hon Lloyd George asked M. Millerand to assume a conciliatory attitude, at least in the International Treaty. The Conference lasted for two hours, and ended abruptly without agreement on any practical points. Military experts will be heard to-mor-
Tlie Conference also debated a reply to Mr Wilson’s note re Turkey. A clause providing for the protection of the Dardanelles was sanctioned, also a clause permitting the Caliph to remain in Constantinople. Turkish delegates will receive the text of the Treaty at Paris on 10th May.
