HOKITIKA BOXING ASSOCIATION.

The annual meeting of the Hokitika Boxing Association ■ was held in Keller’s Sample Rooms on Saturday evening at nine o’clock.

The President (Air F. McGregor) presided over a very large number of members. ®

The balance sheet was read and adopted, all members expressing entire satisfaction in the past year’s working. It was resolved to place on record in minutes, appreciation of the services rendered to the Association by Mr W. O’Brien who had given entire satisfaction in his official capacity as referee. Members eulogised the work performed by the past year’s officers. Members were flien asked to elect officers for the new year. Mr F. McGregor was elected President (unopposed). Mr T. E. Y. Seddon ALT’., Hon. H. L. Michel, M.L.C., Messrs D. ,T. Evans and W. Fv. Williams wore elected patrons. Messrs E. W. Heenan and D. Dee, were appointed joint secretaries. . The following were elected members of the Fixcieutive: —Messrs F. T. | Smith, D. Dowell, W. Staveloy, 0 Shaw C. .T. P. Sellers, B. Dowell, W. A. Berry, and J. Morgan. | It was resolved to raise the subscription from I.os 6d to one guinea. •Six now members were elected. The 'Executive meets at 9 o’clock next Saturday evening in Air Keller’s Sample Rooms.
