A family of nine are left to mourn their loss. There are three daughters, (Mrs John Cron of Haast, Mrs Frank Heveldt of The Forks, and Mrs Alf Dale of Woodstock) and six sons, (Patrick, Denis, and Andrew at Okuru, Matthew at Ross, Thomas and Janies 'at Wataroa).
