the bottle was picked up by natives of New Hebrides and given to a missionary who forwarded the contents to Wellington. One of the letters states the boys on troopship 60 are all doing well, considering the rough passage. They have had everything first-class. The 15th N.Z.F.A. are “Pie on,” especially those of Hut 179, Gunner E. S., White, Gunner J. E. Tunnington, Gunner W. Page. New Hebrides are between 2,000 and 2,500 miles from the point at which the hottle was thrown overboard from the troopship.
