Lizmeyer an officer of tho Baltic Iron Division, on arriving at Escsn, secured telegrams despatched to England by Mwlruw Harding, representative of the 1 Dailj News” and Voiglit representative of the “Manchester Guardian.” Linzmeycr arrested both. Voight kept his unrds in his pocket, when arrested and finzuieiyer ordered two soldiers to beat Voight and teach him how to behave in the presence of a Prussian officei. Bet i were subsequently released. Voight says Linzmeycr resented the attitude of An-glo-American correspondents regarding Ruhr. ~ . Harding states slie drew attention to tho fact that Linzmeyer’s troops were identical with those involved in Kapp s coup, thereby angering Linvmoyer. The correspondent adds that Baltic troops have begun a reign of terror, killing women and workers.
