The annual meeting of the Hokitika Golf Club was held on Thursday evening, when the following officers wore elected: —Captain. Mr J. C. Mncfarhiiie; Hon. Sec. and Teens., -Mr W. Staveley; Committee. Mesdaines Stewart. Wlisan and Messrs Gaibraith Ohesney, Hickson, Perluun and F. Williams. The following now memliers were elected:— Mpsdnni.es McCaskill, Cranston Pilkington and Withers. A number of t-rnpliirs won during the past season were presented, the Club Championships being won by Miss Moore and Mr A, Chesnny, The season will he opened 011 Saturday the 10th inst. when a mixed foursome will be played drawn as follow: Mrs Chcsney and Chesnoy. Mrs Fraser and McCaskill. Airs Langford mill lb-are. Miss Michel and Maefnr'lano, Mrs Butler and Butler. Mrs W. Macfarlane and Perliam. Mrs Doreen and Hickson, Mrs Cranston and Staveley.
