Millerattd communicated the Note to the Ambassadors’ Council, and also outlined the French reply • namely, that France was willing to come “o a reasonable understanding as regards policing the neutral zone, and also for a general*" economic collaboration, but Germany must establish good faith ( as regards the Peace Treaty, whereon France intends to insist. French newspapers point out Germany’s position in Tegard to the neutral zone changes on the tenth, because the period wherein Germany is permitted to keep a number of troops there, expires on that day.
