But a time limit was set. She refused a honeymoon so was kidnapped by her husband and carried to a distant island, where he expected love, but found burglars. He wanted marriage and love—She wanted marriage and convenience. The problem was to strike a happy medium. A topical, scenic and comedy completes the programme. On Thursday June Elvidge is featured in the World Film Drama “Joan of the Woods.”
