POLLARDS PICTURES. TO-NIGHT! TO-NIGHT! This evening at the Princess Theatre Madge Kennedy and Rocldiffe Fellows are featured in a Goldwyn drama “Friend Husband.” The roliiance of a girl with ideas and an eccentric will. IO.OOOdoi. for a husband, in name only! She wanted a husband, so she grabbed the first man who happened along. Her choice was: Marry and be rich, or remain single and be poor. But a time limit was set. She refused a honeymoon so was kidnapped by her husband and carried to a distant island, where he expected love, but found burglars. He wanted marriage and love—She wanted marriage and convenience. The problem was to strike a happy medium. A topical, scenic and comedy completes the programme. On Thursday June Elvidge is featured in the World Film Drama “Joan of the Woods.”
