j Tire weather yesterday which was wet and stormy, continued as the night >vore on and early this morning there was a steady downpour, which necessitated the postponement of the Westland Racing Club’s meeting from today, uqtil to-morrow (Thursday). fhe morning wore on, the rain stopped, and fhpi'C is every prospect of the weather for to-morrow being ■ ifine,- when the i aces will take place. There are splendid acceptances and the course is drying up rapidly and should be in capital order for racing.
