On Wednesday night at the Princess Theatre Madge Kennedy and Ilockliffe Fellows are featured in a Goldwyn drama “Friend Husband.” The romance of a girl with ideas and an eccentric will. IO.OOOdoi. for a husband, in name only! She wanted a husband, so she grabbed the first man who happened along. Her choice was: Marry and bo rich, or remain single and be poor. But a time limit was set. She refused a honeymoon so was kidnapped by her husband and carried to a distant island, where he expected love, hut found burglars. Ho wanted marriage and love—She wanted marriage ouc convenience. The problem w i,s _ strike a happy medium. A topioa , scenic and comedy completes the programme. On Thursday June Elvidgc is featured in the World Film Drama “Joan of the Woods.”
