RIFLE SHOOTING
The annual Government shoot of the West Coast Rifle Clubs took place yesterday at the Kanieri Club’s range, over twenty marksmen competing for three cash prizes provided by the Government. Tlu> winner proved to be Rifleman E. Flaherty, of Greymoutli, with a score of 74. He was closely followed by Rifle man N. Lawson (Greymoutli), with 73, he putting one below the possible at the 500 yards range.
