France fears this is a menace to her safety, ut Britain and the other Allies recognising the importance of restoration of order favoured acceding to a certain request. Ultimately in response to French presentations, the Allies agreed to permit additional German troops to enter the neutral zone provided an equivalent Allied force occupied the various points.
