To-night at the 'Princess 'Theatre, Pollards will present the powerful Essanay drama “The Alan who was Afraid,” and the 10th Chapter of “The Lightning Raiders.” “The Man Who was Afraid” is a thrilling story of a man whose home life surrounds him with an atmosphere of luxury and idleness that taught him to be afraid of pain and consequences, but the love of a girl brought out his inherent manhood and when his chance came he proved himself a man. Many-thrilling scenes and incidents mark his trip through the enemy lines where he makes good. The 10th episode of “The Lightning Raiders” is shown as a supporting picture to the star film. i THURSDAY, “HEREDITY.” On Thursday evening Pollards’ aL. traction will be the World Film drama “Heredity” starring Barbara Castleton supported by Madge -Evans and John Bowers in a story bright and interesting ,full of thrilling situations, mingled with mystery.
