N.S.W ELECTIONS
(By Electric Telegraph—Copyright,' SYDNEY, March 22. A careful analysis of the election figures revised to-day, shows the probable composition of the new Parliament as follows:—• Labour, forty-two. Nationalists, twenty-seven. Progressives, eleven. Doubtful, eleven. The Ministers are anxious in watching the present indefinite position obviously, they are prepared for a small Labour majority. Both sides, however, are very cautious, owing to the possibility of an evenly divided house. ft is almost certain that the Premier (Mr Holman) will be defeated. The Holman Ministry thus goes out of office. Whether the Labourites have a majority or not, they certainly have tho strongest party. The Governor is almost certain, In some quarters it is contended another election will be necessary shortly to secure a workable Parliament.
Mr Grahamc (late Minister of Agriculture) is definitely defeated. In the Newcastle division, the only member of the present Cabinet likely to lose his seat is Mr Crane (assistant Minister of Lands). The; difficulty of finding pref-v----cntial order —in some cases from twenty candidates—and tho multiplicity of instrucions, have perplexed the electors. Possibly these have accounted for tho j ?igV, poll and the heavy informal vote.
