CHRISTCHURCH, March 20. '['he matches between Beamish and Lowe and Canterbury Tennis representatives were continued in fine weatliei and before a large attendance. In the singles Lowe beat Ollivier o—4, 6—2, and Beamish heat Greenwood 6-2, 6-3. Lowe kept a magnificent length and many of his shots were unplayable.
